Andrew Hallett(with dad Keith) provided the poultry on "Ute Hunt" Saturday with a great shot on a pre-dawn wood duck and a big, fat honker for the freezer.
Congrats to the both of you!
John Kibler, son of guide Mark, dropped this three bird limit of wood ducks in less than ten minutes. We then scurried over to our field spread for geese and he killed two honkers(not shown) in about the same amount of time.

Mike "Cap'n Krunch" Dimeo knocked the snot out of these
birds on this blue Thursday morn. Nice shootin', Cap'n!
On the way out, Mike asked if we would be picking up the dekes. Nope. Do you see more than those
60 dekes in this picture taken about two hours later? Our pit is near the brush in the middle of the picture.
Pete Johnson and Kim Presbrey joined me for
about forty minutes of fun Friday. We got in the hole
around 9am and were back at the warm-up shack before 10am.

Andre Green, Gary Maciarz, Scott Martin, and i were done with our limits of geese well before 8am but decided it would be cool to sit out in the freezing rain the rest of the day for two ducks.

Three generations of goose-whackin' Polowys.Josh, Uncle Jason, and Gramps(Dennis). Nice work, gents!
Well, since these were Josh's first geese, we told him about how the English would "blood" a young man's forehead upon his first kill of a fox and went on to explain that, in the wilds of Kane County, we use goose poop. He wasn't buyin' any of that. Next...

Todd Renihan, Mr. Mark "Bling-Bling" Kibler(two more bands for his jewelry-laden noose), Dan Liebers, Li'l Jason, Kevin Krahn, Bruce Campbell, and myself had limits before 10am. Mr. Mark and his rummies, er, hunters(Todd, Dan, Bruce) knocked down the first seven of their eight bird limit from one group of birds. Nicely done, sirs!
The Teskas(Mike, Dave, and Ken), Steve Lemke, and Li'l Jason wore 'em out.
Eight more were snuffed out by another group but, alas, no pictures.
The Mackays(Kevin, Devin the Goosemaster, and Bob) and Andre Green ruined Christmas for these birds with the aid of Mr. Mark and Stone.
